Terms and Conditions

1.      Swimwear policy: everyday clothing and underwear are not permitted as swimwear. Alternative swimming attire—including but not limited to burkinis, full-body swimsuits and cover-ups—is permitted where it does not compromise the safety of the swimmer or others and is suitable for use in the pool. Where a swimmer requests an exception for a particular reason, pool staff will use their discretion to determine whether the proposed attire is appropriate and safe.

2.      Please follow health and safety signage around the facility.

3.      No phones or photography on poolside.

4.      When the pool reaches capacity – a 1-in-1-out queue will be established, entry into the facility thereafter will be guided by the pool staff.

5.      Self-appointed swim teaching is not permitted during members swim sessions, if anyone is interested in swim skill development, lessons can be booked through our designated third party providers (see below).

6.      Swimming pool access is restricted to Edinburgh Sport members only and is not available on the BUCs universal scheme, neighbouring hotel promotions or for family swim sessions.
